Aleck Bovick, whose affair with her manager, Coco Simmo made her leave showbiz temporarily, said she is very very happy to be out. “Masaya ako kasi hindi sila umiiyak paglabas ko, sabi ko walang iiyak.”
Bovick was 30 percent shy of the text votes earned by the highest nominee, Kilabot ng Senado Keanna Reeves who garnered a whopping 63% followed by the divang koleyila,Roxanne Barcelo who garnered 23.4%.
This makes Bovick the third person to be evicted from the PBB house following the heels of Hunk Daddy Christian Vasquez who was evicted last week. A beaming Bovick was welcomed by her father, her boyfriend, actor Carlo Maceda and her sister in the studio.
Highly emotional Season II
The second series of Pinoy Celebrity Big Brother, in which the stars raise money for charity, has become highly charged and highly emotional. Prizes have become bigger with the winner getting 1 million and another million for the winning housemate’s charity while the second runner gets half a million which totals the winning bonanza to 3.5 M courtesy of Rebisco. The winner also gets a condominium unit from Chateau Valenzuela, Promac appliances, Red Fox laptop, Sony digital/web shot camera plus the privilege of surviving and learning from Kuya’s house.
Days before the 3rd eviction night, the housemates’ sense of friendship gets tested as Big Brother surprised Rico, Bianca, Rustom and Gretchen with the difficult task of taking the places of nominees for eviction, Roxanne, Keanna and Aleck. The three agreed and was asked to leave yesterday.
Tears flooded the PBB house as the nominees felt guilty and could not believe what was happening. Aleck Bovick even threw a fit and removed her lapel when informed that Gege would be leaving for her. Aleck angrily told best bud Gretchen that she felt hurt that she volunteered to leave when she knew very well that she already wanted to leave. It showed that Gege did not really know her, Aleck angrily said.
Rustom and Keanna had a crying moment in the garden where Keanna thanked Russ for doing the sacrifice for her. Rico and Roxanne decided to have a laughing trip in the pool while Bianca thanked Rico for sacrificing again. She apologized to Rico for not siding with him whenever he would have a spat with Roxie. Bianca told Rico that she should have known him better. Up until midnight, Aleck and Gretchen were avoiding each other. They only talked when Aleck showed Missy, Bianca’s dog.
Minutes before the “sacrificial housemates” exit, Gretchen and Aleck settled their differences and had an emotional goodbye. Keanna was inconsolable as she bid Rustom goodbye and Roxanne silently hugged Rico for a long time.
Rico, Rustom and Gretchen were blindfolded going out and were handed iced coffees and were asked to watch what the other housemates were doing after their emotional exit.
The three seemed enjoying watching the housemates but their moods changed when Big Brother asked the housemates to discuss who will return to the house. Instead of deciding who will return, they casually decided to choose Gretchen NOT to return since she seemed ready to leave and she apparently had the least important reason for staying. (‘Publicity, lang, break… kaya sya nandito, Keanna said.)
The casual way that the housemates decided against Gege made the sacrificial housemates cry. Gege cried the loudest. Big Brother then decided that only Rico and Gege would go back to the house and Rustom would remain.
While the other housemates were preparing for Bianca’s pre-birthday celebration, Rico and Gretchen entered the house. Keanna and John were immediately bothered when they did not see Rustom.
This morning, Rustom entered the house again to Keanna’s delight. By afternoon, Big Brother made an announcement that explained his decision to make the big switch between Rico and Roxanne, Rustom and Keanna; and Gretchen and Aleck. He explained that he did the task to test their one month friendship and he clarified that Eviction would push through and the three girls, Keanna, Aleck and Roxanne will still face eviction.
The housemates have spent 35 days in the PBB house and already the housemates are already highly emotional. Tomorrow is Sunday, Nomination Night and Wednesday next week is the 4th Eviction Night.
