JOHN PRATS, Dance Floor Dynamite   No stranger to showbiz, John Prats, who would turn 22 on Feb. 14, has evolved from a child actor to teenage heartthrob to dance floor dynamite.   His screen coupling with Heart Evangelista, however, gave him his biggest break in the biz. It also gave him his bleakest moment when it ended.   “Love team kami for four years,” said John. “Tapos, naging kami for one-and-a-half years.”   The love affair turned sour when John asked Heart for space.   “Masyado akong nasakal,” he admitted. “Selosa siya. She did not want me to go to college because I would meet a lot of girls.”   A week into their cool off period, John played the field.   “Ang dami kong naging kasalanan. Natukso ako. Tao lang po. Then nalaman niya and she confronted me. Inamin ko, kasi ayokong mawala ang trust niya sa akin. Nag-sorry ako. ‘Bebeto, I’m still here, you know. Nagawa ko lang yun pero pinagsisihan ko na, and I’m really sorry about that. That’s why I’m here kasi ikaw ang mahal ko.’   “Those were my exact words.”   But Heart did not take him back, leaving him writhing in pain and regret.   “My biggest regret is I did not get that second chance,” he said. “Bakit hindi ako nabigyan ng second chance? I deserve that second chance. Napaka-unfair. Alam mo na mahal mo yung tao, eh. Di naman mawawala yon. And it’s unfair, masakit na, until now, dine-deny pa niya ako. Noon, isang tawag lang niya, five minutes lang, I’m there. Kahit papaano, iba siya. Chip ko yun. But now, we’re okay. Purely friendship. Pero wala siyang kapalit. Honestly, wala siyang kapalit. Masyadong naging ideal yung kay Heart. We were both born on Feb. 14. Feeling ko non, we were soulmates.”   John has finally moved on. He has admitted to dating Nancy Castiglione, but is taking the relationship one step at a time.   “Let’s wait for what she would say,” said John.
